Joseph Cho is an associate in the Financial Services Group in Morrison Foerster’s New York office.

Joseph provides counsel to fintech companies, merchants, banks, and other financial institutions on a wide range of transactional matters.

Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Joseph worked at a publicly traded asset manager where he provided corporate legal guidance and collaborated with the investment team on transactions. His diverse legal career also includes experience at other prominent law firms, where he advised clients on a range of general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, public company compliance, corporate governance, and employee benefits and compensation.

Joseph earned his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law and holds an LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in statistics.
