Julia Koch is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Litigation Department and a member of the Securities Litigation and Investigations + White Collar Defense Groups.

Julia has extensive experience in complex civil and criminal litigation, as well as regulatory investigations, including matters alleging fraud, bribery, and securities laws violations. Her work also includes corporate governance and private shareholder disputes, securities and shareholder litigations, and other high-stakes matters. She has experience representing clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout the country as well as in private arbitration.

Before joining MoFo, Julia was an associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in New York, where she represented financial institutions and other clients in complex commercial litigation, internal investigations, and regulatory proceedings, including those alleging collusion in derivatives markets, deficient anti-money laundering controls, and securities laws violations.

Julia also serves as an adjunct faculty member at New England School of Law, where she teaches Legal Research & Writing and Contract Drafting.

Julia graduated cum laude from Boston College Law School, where she served as executive note editor of the Boston College International & Comparative Law Review. Julia earned her B.A. cum laude, with a double major in Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought and German, from Amherst College.
