Julia primarily advises domestic and foreign companies and startups in all areas of technology and IP law, including patent and software licensing, employee inventions law, and know-how protection. She also has a strong focus on trademark and competition law as well as an extensive knowledge of media and copyright law.

Julia studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. She specialized in intellectual property law during her legal studies and gained extensive experience in several renowned IP firms.

Julia also holds an LL.M. degree with a specialization in media, entertainment, technology, and sports law and policy from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Julia is an associate at Morrison Foerster’s German office in Berlin.
