Juweria Mehtar is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Palo Alto office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Group.
Her practice focuses on complex litigation matters, including patent and securities litigation. Juweria also maintains an active pro bono practice, including immigrant and asylum matters.
Juweria externed for the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, conducting legal research and drafting bench memoranda in connection with pending motions.
Juweria earned her J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where she served as chief managing editor of the Journal of Islamic and Near Eastern Law and was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board. She also served on the board of the Asian Pacific Islander Law Student Association and received the Masin Family Academic Excellence Gold Award. Juweria received her B.A. summa cum laude in legal studies, with a minor in human rights, from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
