Kaitlin Bagby is a partner based in the firm’s Palo Alto office and a member of the Emerging Companies + Venture Capital Group.
Kaitlin advises high-growth technology companies throughout the full corporate lifecycle, from formation and early-stage and venture financings through mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings. She also represents leading venture capital investors in financings and other strategic transactions.
With more than a decade of experience, Kaitlin has deep relationships throughout the global venture ecosystem and significant experience advising founders and venture-backed startups, including those within the Y Combinator community. Kaitlin also has extensive experience advising late-stage, pre-IPO companies on complex governance and corporate structuring matters, including holding company reorganizations, tender offers, and transactions involving sophisticated voting structures and multijurisdicitional regulatory considerations. Her practice spans a range of innovative sectors, including fintech, artificial intelligence, software, and insurtech.
Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Kaitlin was a partner in the Technology Companies Group at a global firm.
Kaitlin earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and her B.A. from Westmont College.
