Karl Mihm is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Appellate and Supreme Court practice.
Before joining Morrison Foerster, Karl clerked for the Hon. Ronnie Abrams in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York and the Hon. Richard J. Sullivan in the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit. Before his clerkships, Karl practiced as an associate at a litigation boutique. Earlier in his career, he worked as a patent agent at a firm in Germany and served as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
In 2022, Karl earned his J.D. magna cum laude from New York University School of Law, where he was an Order of the Coif member, both a Pomeroy and a Butler Scholar, and an executive editor of the NYU Law Review. Karl also contributed as a staff editor for Just Security. He obtained a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland.
