Kate Im is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s San Francisco office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Group.

Kate’s practice focuses on general litigation and regulatory matters.

Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, she gained experience across judicial, government, and clinical settings, supporting matters involving consumer protection and commercial disputes.

Kate earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she served as diversity editor of the California Law Review.

During law school, she externed with the Honorable Dale E. Ho in the U.S. District Court for Southern District of New York and interned with the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Section.

Prior to law school, Kate worked in voting rights and redistricting. She received her B.A. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley.
