Kevin Wang is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison Foerster’s Washington, D.C. office.

Kevin advises clients on antitrust matters involving transactions, litigation, and strategic counseling. His practice includes managing antitrust risk, preparing Hart-Scott-Rodino Act premerger notification filings, addressing gun jumping concerns, and merger clearance advocacy. He also helps companies assess potential claims, pursue antitrust litigation, and develop case strategies and theories.

Kevin regularly represents clients before the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and various state attorneys general. His experience spans industries including semiconductors, artificial intelligence, consumer goods, industrials, and life sciences.

Before joining Morrison Foerster, Kevin was a paralegal specialist in the DOJ Antitrust Division, where he worked on two large merger transactions and received the Assistant Attorney General Award. During law school, he interned at the FTC’s Office of Policy Planning.

Kevin earned his J.D. from George Mason University Law School. He graduated with a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Merger Review and Advisement
  • Special New Fruit Licensing (SNFL), a table grape R&D company, in an FTC Second Request investigation regarding its combination with IFG.
  • Propel Media, an online advertising platform, in an FTC Second Request investigation and federal court and administration litigation concerning its proposed acquisition by healthcare data company, IQVIA.
  • McGrath RentCorp. in an FTC Second Request investigation of its proposed $3.8 billion acquisition by WillScot Mobile Mini Holdings.
  • Vecco Instruments in connection with the antitrust aspects of its $4.4 billion all-stock merger with Axcelis Technologies, Inc.
  • ATL Partners, a middle-market private equity firm, in connection with its acquisitions of SkyMark Companies and Rampmaster, both leading manufacturers of aircraft refueling equipment, which closed in 2025.
Litigation
  • Provi, an e-commerce platform, in Tiz (d/b/a Provi) v. Southern Glazer’s and Republic National Distribution Co. (N.D. Ill.), an antitrust claim alleging monopolization, tying, and a group boycott by the nation’s largest alcohol distributors.
  • Prime Therapeutics, a pharmacy benefit manager, as a third-party defendant in a series of litigations involving fraud claims concerning price reporting from retail pharmacies.
Government Investigations
  • An AI company as a complainant in an FTC conduct investigation.
  • A company in its defense against an FTC investigation concerning an alleged order violation.
  • A retailer as a third party in connection with merger reviews.
