Kiran Sutaria is an associate in the Transactions Department of Morrison Foerster’s Palo Alto office.

Kiran’s practice focuses on patent preparation, prosecution, and counseling for a variety of technologies and medical devices.

Before joining Morrison Foerster as an associate, Kiran participated in Morrison Foerster’s Two-Summer Patent Program in the summers of 2022 and 2023.

Kiran received her J.D. summa cum laude from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she was a notes editor for the Santa Clara Law Review and received the Mabie Outstanding Graduate Award. Prior to law school, Kiran received her B.S. in bioengineering, with a minor in electrical engineering, from Santa Clara University. She also worked as a biomedical engineer, developing point of care blood tests.
