Lauren Pardee Ruben focuses her practice on appellate litigation and dispositive motions. She has drafted briefs filed in the U.S. Supreme Court, the federal courts of appeals, state appellate courts, and trial courts nationwide.Lauren previously served as a law clerk for the U.S. Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She also practiced appellate litigation at leading national law firms.
Lauren earned her J.D. from Yale Law School, where she served as an editor of the Yale Law Journal. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Columbia University.
Lauren maintains an active pro bono practice focused on immigration and civil rights matters. At her previous firm, she received two pro bono leadership awards: one for a case involving children in foster care, and another for a case involving noncitizen detainees.
