Lee Nisson is an associate in the firm’s Transactions Department.
Lee’s practice focuses on corporate and securities transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate and venture capital financing.
Lee regularly assists strategic and financial institutions and private equity funds and early and late-stage start-ups in a variety of domestic and cross-border transactions, including deal structuring and mechanics, stock and asset purchases, mergers, divestitures, and carve-outs. Lee also represents companies and funds with respect to their equity investments, entity formation, portfolio financing, and other strategic transactions, as well as general corporate governance and commercial counseling. He has advised on matters in a range of industries, including healthcare, technology, life sciences, food and agriculture, energy and structured financial products.
Lee previously served as Associate General Counsel on secondment to Anzu Partners, a venture fund with approximately $1 billion in strategic assets under management focused on investing and supporting start-ups in emerging technologies, life sciences and heavy industry.
Lee received his J.D. from the New York University School of Law, where he was a Competitions Staff Editor of the Moot Court Board. He received his B.A. from Brandeis University, where he graduated summa cum laude with highest honors in History and Business.
Lee is proficient in Hebrew and Japanese.
