Alexandrea (Lexy) Hanna is a tax associate in the San Diego office of Morrison Foerster.

Lexy advises clients on U.S. federal income tax issues relating to joint ventures, partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Lexy worked as a senior associate in the international tax group of a global professional services firm, where she advised multinational companies on cross-border transactions and reorganizations. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael S. Berg of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California.

Lexy volunteered her time at University of San Diego School of Law, where she assisted with the international tax component of a tax planning course.

Lexy earned her J.D. and Tax LL.M. cum laude from University of San Diego School of Law, where she was an articles editor for the San Diego Law Review and won the University of San Diego School of Law Professional Student Impact Award. She earned her B.A. in economics from University of California, San Diego.
