Malika Moore is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Washington, D.C. office and member of the Financial Services Group.
Malika advises financial institutions, Fintechs, and blockchain-based technology companies on a wide range of financial regulatory issues, including those arising under the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Electronic Fund Transfer Act. She has particular experience advising on BSA/AML, KYC compliance, consumer bank account and credit product disclosures, federally insured deposit marketing, and other consumer financial services and third-party risk management matters that arise in financial infrastructure and Banking as a Service (BaaS) relationships. Her transactional experience includes structuring and negotiating payment processor and Fintech partnership agreements.
Malika holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she participated in the Transactional Law Clinic. She obtained a B.S. from University of Maryland in both finance and marketing. Prior to joining the firm, Malika was a financial services and Fintech associate at another prominent law firm.
