Masha Miura is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s New York office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Group.
Before joining Morrison Foerster, Masha interned with the Stanford Center for Racial Justice and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. She also worked as a research assistant at the Ida B. Wells Just Data Lab, where she collaborated with the Immigrant Defense Project to develop resources on Smart City technologies and conducted interviews with formerly incarcerated small business owners. Additionally, she served as a summer associate and Wetmore fellow at the firm.
Masha earned her J.D. from Stanford Law School and was honored with the Hilmer Oehlmann, Jr. Award for Outstanding Performance in Federal Litigation. She received her B.A. summa cum laude in African American Studies from Princeton University, where she served as president of Students for Prison Education, Abolition, and Reform, and earned the Henritta S. Treen Scholarship in recognition of her academic excellence.
