Maya Darrow is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s San Francisco office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Group.

Maya’s practice focuses on general litigation, including intellectual property matters.

Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Maya was a summer associate at the firm. She also worked across academic and nonprofit settings, with roles at Berkeley Law’s Digital Rights Project and California Lawyers for the Arts, supporting legal research and analysis.

Maya earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she also earned a Technology Law Certificate. Maya served as an editor of the California Law Review and the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. As a student fellow for the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology, she served as an advisor for the Law and Technology Writing Workshop and published a student note in the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. She received her B.A. in philosophy from Reed College where she was awarded the Garlan Prize for outstanding scholarship in philosophy for her senior thesis and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
