Maya Vishwanath is an AI Legal and Regulatory Analyst and a core member of MoFo’s Artificial Intelligence Industry Group. She monitors and analyzes artificial intelligence legislation, regulation, and policy developments around the world, helping the firm and its clients understand the practical implications of a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

Maya tracks legislative and regulatory activity across jurisdictions, analyzes emerging AI policy trends, contributes to thought leadership, and supports the development of the firm’s broader AI regulatory resources, including MoFo’s AI Resource Center.

Prior to joining MoFo, Maya served as a senior consultant at a public-sector consulting firm, where she supported the implementation of U.S. federal policy initiatives related to artificial intelligence, data centers, and cybersecurity. She has also conducted research on emerging technology governance at NASA Ames Research Center and Harvard University’s Technology and Public Purpose Project.
