Michael Ahern is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison Foerster’s New York office.

Michael’s practice focuses on complex litigation, with an emphasis on class action and commercial litigation. His experience includes work on matters involving contract disputes, shareholder disputes, false advertising, privacy laws, and state unfair and deceptive practices statutes, among other areas.

Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Michael clerked for the Honorable Eileen Bransten in the Commercial Division of New York County Supreme Court. Michael received his J.D. cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, where he served as a notes & articles editor for the Fordham International Law Journal. While in law school, Michael worked in the Criminal Defense Clinic, where he represented indigent clients charged with misdemeanors in Manhattan Criminal Court. Michael received his B.A. in history from Dartmouth College.
