Michael Coiro is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s New York office and a member of the firm’s Technology Transactions Group.
Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Michael worked at another international firm where he represented private equity sponsors, public companies, and other strategic clients across a broad range of industries. Michael’s experience includes advising on the intellectual property and technology considerations in corporate transactions, negotiating commercial and licensing agreements, conducting due diligence, and counseling clients on intellectual property, branding, sports and entertainment, open-source software, and artificial intelligence-related issues.
Michael earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. He earned his B.M. in music business from New York University.
