Michael Ols is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm’s Government Contracts + Public Procurement Group.

Michael advises clients on a broad range of federal procurement matters, including bid protests before the U.S. Government Accountability Office and Court of Federal Claims, contract claims and disputes, internal and external investigations, and compliance with procurement statutes and regulations.

Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Michael was an associate in the litigation department of an international law firm. He also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Zachary N. Somers of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the Honorable Lois H. Goodman, U.S.M.J. for the District of New Jersey.

Michael graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he served as executive editor of the Journal of Law, Ethics and Public Policy. During law school, Michael externed for the Honorable Michael G. Gotsch, U.S.M.J for the Northern District of Indiana. He earned his B.S. in industrial and labor relations, with a minor in business, from Cornell University. He is a member of the American Bar Association’s Public Contract Law Section.
