Mike Machado advises national and multinational clients on commercial real estate transactions, with a particular focus on acquisition and development financing. He regularly represents major financial institutions in the origination of syndicated, mortgage, mezzanine, and securitized loans.
Mike has worked with clients on construction loan transactions involving prominent developers of large-scale projects in New York City and other major U.S. markets. He also advises clients in connection with subscription and unsecured lines of credit to private equity funds and REITs, as well as mortgage loans intended for single-asset and pooled CMBS securitizations.
Mike received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.S. magna cum laude from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Mike was previously a summer associate for two years and a law clerk at Morrison Foerster.
