Dr. Paige Smith specializes in patent application drafting and prosecution for innovative technologies in the life sciences and biotechnology space, including clinical biomarker assays, cell-based therapies, antibodies, and spatial transcriptomics.
Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Paige worked as a patent agent at a prominent national law firm.
Paige earned her Ph.D. in biological sciences at Carnegie Mellon University, where she designed and synthesized red blood cell-based drug delivery systems for biotherapeutics. She received her B.S. in chemistry from New York University.
Paige is also a member in the biotechnology and antibody groups in the firm’s Life Sciences practice.
