Priyanka Mara is an associate in the firm’s Litigation department and is based in the New York office.
Priyanka represents corporations in complex commercial litigation disputes. Her practice includes representation of organizations in connection with internal investigations and government inquiries, including matters relating to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering compliance.
Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Priyanka served as a professional staff member/legislative aide on the United States House Committee on the Judiciary, where she worked on a variety of complex and high-profile congressional investigations concerning political and public corruption.
Priyanka earned her J.D. with honors from The George Washington University School of Law. While in law school, she served as an editorial board member for The George Washington Law Review and as co-president of the South Asian Law Students Association.
She received her B.A. in government and Asian American studies from The University of Texas at Austin and was a member of the Liberal Arts Honors Program.
