Rioko Shimizu is an associate of Morrison Foerster Law Offices.

Rioko earned her J.D. from the University of Tokyo and completed her training at the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan (76th trainee). She received her LL.B. from Chuo University.

Prior to joining MoFo, she served for two years as a judge at the Tokyo District Court.

She is a bengoshi admitted to practice in Japan and a member of the Tokyo Bar Association.
