Rita is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison Foerster's Washington, D.C. office and a member of the Global Antitrust Law Practice Group.
Rita advises and guides clients in both antitrust litigation and transactional matters. Her practice ranges from antitrust risk assessment, deal counseling, advocacy before enforcement agencies, and defending clients in civil and criminal antitrust litigation.
Rita has experience working across various industries, including technology, energy, materials, financial services, life sciences, media and entertainment, and retail.
Before joining MoFo, Rita was an associate in an international law firm’s antitrust and competition practice group. She also previously worked as a law clerk for the Federal Trade Commission and as a legal intern in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division.
Rita received her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of Barristers and won awards through the Global Antitrust Institute Moot Court and American Bar Association Antitrust Law Section Student Writing Contest. She graduated with a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
