Sabreena Khalid is a member of Morrison Foerster’s Finance Group.
Sabreena represents and advises financial institutions, private funds, and lenders, specializing in fund financings, corporate financings, and structured credit arrangements. Sabreena regularly advises on a wide variety of fund-level financings, including syndicated and bilateral facilities; subscription (or capital call) facilities and NAV facilities for funds and their parallel funds, alternative investment vehicles, and portfolio companies; hybrid facilities; aftercare facilities; and fund guarantees and other credit support for fund portfolios.
Prior to joining the firm, Sabreena was an associate in the finance group at another prominent law firm. She worked with various market-leading financial sponsors in connection with their debt, infrastructure, and investment funds; public companies; private equity funds and their portfolio companies; and other private entities. She advised clients on fund formation and event-driven transactions in connection with financing strategies, including fund financings, acquisition financings, collateralized fund obligations, take-privates, and restructurings.
Sabreena holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, where she actively participates on the steering committee for the Alumnae-i Network for Harvard Women. She earned her LL.B. and B.A. from Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law. Sabreena is fluent in Urdu and conversant in Hindi.
