Sadie Mlika is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Boston office and a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Group.
Sadie represents clients in complex intellectual property disputes, with experience in patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret matters. Her practice spans all stages of litigation, including trial, fact and expert discovery, depositions, claim construction, and dispositive motion practice.
She has experience litigating multi-patent disputes in federal court, including second-chairing a patent infringement trial. She has prepared fact and expert witnesses for depositions, developed deposition strategies, and drafted motions for summary judgment, motions to compel discovery, and motions to exclude expert testimony. Her broader IP experience includes trademark enforcement, trade secret protection, technology licensing, and data privacy matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Sadie served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Indira Talwani of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, where she researched complex questions of federal civil procedure and constitutional law and drafted bench memoranda and proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law.
Sadie earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, where she participated in the Intellectual Property Law Clinic and served as treasurer of the Intellectual Property Society. She earned her B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from New York University.
