Serene Lau’s practice focuses on cross-border private equity real estate transactions across Asia, including in the data center and logistics sectors. She advises public and private companies, and private equity firms, on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Serene practiced at a leading regional law firm based in Singapore, where she advised on a wide range of transactions across sectors including real estate, technology, healthcare, and financial services. She also completed a secondment with a global real estate management company in Singapore.

Serene is fluent in English and Mandarin.
