Stephanie Drumm is an associate in the Emerging Companies + Venture Capital Group in the Denver office.
Stephanie maintains a full-spectrum ECVC practice, advising venture fund managers throughout the VC fund life cycle, representing venture-backed companies in corporate and transactional matters from formation to exit, and guiding corporate venture capital investors in strategic investment transactions. Her work spans the fintech, medtech, and consumer packaged goods industries, among others, where she effectively navigates complex regulatory requirements while advancing her clients’ business objectives.
In her work with emerging companies, Stephanie provides valuable counsel on corporate governance, capital raising strategies, equity compensation, operations, strategic transactions, and exits. She works closely with founders and management teams to build scalable legal and operational frameworks that support growth while protecting key business interests. Her experience guiding companies through competitive financing rounds helps clients secure the capital needed to scale effectively.
Venture fund managers rely on Stephanie's expertise for fund formation, LP negotiations, and domestic and international portfolio investments. Corporate venture investors turn to her for guidance on structuring strategic investments that align with their innovation and market expansion goals, often involving complex rights and governance considerations beyond traditional venture deals.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephanie was an associate at another global law firm, where she represented venture-backed companies and focused on venture capital financings while also supporting select middle-market acquisition transactions.
Stephanie earned her J.D. and Certificate in Entrepreneurial Law from the University of Colorado.
