Steven McKeever is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Palo Alto office who specializes in litigating emerging, high-tech issues.

Steve’s practice focuses on litigation in areas like intellectual property, internet, and privacy law. His experience in law firm, in-house, and clinical settings allows him to provide strategic advocacy for clients.

Steve has consistently sought out cutting-edge issues. At Santa Clara University School of Law, he earned his Tech Edge Juris Doctorate, a specialized degree that leverages the school’s renowned intellectual property curriculum. Steve has advised high-tech clients on complex problems involving intermediary liability, data privacy, and contract disputes.

Steve was the first ever chairperson of the Tech Edge Student Executive Board, and he won the National Best Brief award in the 2022 Thomas Tang Moot Court competition.
