Tomoki Kodama is a partner in Morrison Foerster’s Litigation Department. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, disputes, ethics, compliance, and investigation matters across a broad range of industries including technology, systems development, software and cloud computing, electronics, consulting, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and real estate. He has represented multinational corporations as a trial lawyer before Japanese courts in complex commercial and contractual litigation and intellectual property disputes.
In 2014, Tomoki was seconded to the legal department of a leading global consulting services company in Japan.
He received his LL.B. from Keio University and J.D. from Keio University Law School. He completed his training at the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan (63rd Trainee). He also earned an LL.M. from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law.
Tomoki is a bengoshi admitted to practice in Japan as well as in New York and is a member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.
