Will Ward is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison Foerster's New York office.

Will's practice focuses on complex litigation. He has represented clients in class actions, multi-district proceedings, and complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts across the country, including in the Northern District of California, as well as in arbitration. Will has represented clients in the technology sector facing a variety of claims, including consumer claims under California law, securing wins at the pleading stage and at class certification. He has been the primary drafter of numerous substantive motions on these matters, including a winning opposition to class certification on behalf of a major technology company, multiple motions to dismiss, and various discovery-related briefing. Will also has substantial experience coordinating complex discovery workstreams, including drafting and responding to written discovery, developing discovery strategy, managing document collection and review, preparing productions and privilege logs, coordinating with client teams and vendors, and shepherding productions through completion. Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Will was a summer associate at Morrison Foerster.

Will received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he served as an editorial board member for the California Law Review and a team member and coach for the Berkeley Law Moot Court team. In addition, Will volunteered with Legal Aid at Work, where he provided free legal assistance to low-income individuals.

Will received his B.A. magna cum laude in English from the University of California, Los Angeles.
