Xuanyi Liu advises fund sponsors and institutional investors on the formation and operation of private funds and investment programs across private equity, venture capital, real estate, private credit, impact, and infrastructure strategies. His active clients include leading fund sponsors, regional fund-of-funds, sovereign and institutional investors, and multinational corporations based in Greater China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and the United States.

Xuanyi also advises on a broad range of secondaries and liquidity solutions. He has extensive experience with continuation fund transactions, preferred equity structures, net asset value financings, strip sales, open-end conversions, tenders and traditional limited partner portfolio sales.

Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Xuanyi worked for another leading international law firm in both Hong Kong and Singapore. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
