Yeram Choi is an associate in the New York office of Morrison Foerster and member of the firm’s Technology Transactions Group and Life Sciences Transactions + Licensing Group.
Yeram advises companies across the life sciences, food and agriculture, technology, and media and entertainment industries on transactional matters involving intellectual property, technology, data, and information assets. She has experience drafting licensing and collaboration agreements, manufacturing and supply agreements, and services agreements. Her practice also involves drafting material transfer and evaluation agreements, sponsored research, and clinical trial agreements, as well as seed sale, grower, and field test agreements. Yeram also advises on the intellectual property aspects of M&A and other strategic transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Yeram was a summer associate in the Boston office in 2021, law clerk with MassMutual, and a paralegal with OrbiMed Advisors and Cantor Fitzgerald.
Yeram earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School, where she was a student attorney for the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Clinic. While attending, she also served as executive editor of the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter‑Digest and co-president of First Generation Professionals. She holds a B.A., magna cum laude, in political science (with honors) from Boston College.
She has native fluency in English and Korean.
