Dr. Yocelyn Recinos focuses her work on patent drafting and assisting prosecution, with an emphasis on the life sciences and biotechnology.
Prior to joining the firm, Yocelyn was a graduate researcher at Columbia University, where she developed molecular tools to understand splicing regulation in disease-relevant genes. Most recently, Yocelyn worked at a consulting firm evaluating cellular agriculture technologies and performing scientific due diligence for clients.
Yocelyn received her Ph.D. in cellular, molecular, and biomedical studies from Columbia University, where she was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Research. She earned her B.S. in biological sciences from the University of California, Irvine.
