Yuting’s practice focuses on government and internal investigations, economic sanctions and export controls, and cross-border litigation. 

Yuting has extensive experience advising leading global financial institutions and multinational corporations on complex sanctions and export controls compliance issues across multiple jurisdictions, including the United States, China, and Europe. 

Yuting regularly assists major global banks, investment funds, insurance groups, and multinational enterprises in developing, enhancing, and remediating sanctions and export controls compliance programs, as well as in responding to government enforcement actions and regulatory inquiries. She has significant experience advising on sanctions and regulatory risks arising from cross-border transactions, global infrastructure projects, supply chain arrangements, and market entry or restructuring initiatives.

Yuting also has experience assisting major financial institutions and publicly listed companies in complex trademark infringement and securities litigation matters. In addition, she regularly advises multinational enterprises in the life sciences, entertainment, and technology sectors on internal investigations involving alleged fraud, corruption, and accounting issues, as well as on enhancing their compliance management regimes.

Prior to joining MoFo, Yuting worked at a leading international law firm for three years. She completed an externship at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Yuting is fluent in Mandarin and English.

  • A leading global manufacturer of medical devices in multiple internal investigations of alleged fraud, corruption and accounting issues in China, in connection with allegations of expense fraud, distributor misconduct, and bribery of healthcare professionals.
  • A Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company on developing compliance programs to facilitate proactive self‑disclosure of ethics and compliance issues by employees who previously engaged in misconduct. We also advised the client in enhancing overall compliance transparency and built a culture of trust in major jurisdictions in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) (including China, India, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and others) and the United States.
  • A European-listed global medical technology company’s China subsidiary on anti-corruption and other compliance issues in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. We systematically reviewed and enhanced the company’s compliance management regime, including its policies, procedures, and approval electronic systems.
  • A U.S.-listed Chinese education company in a government enforcement action initiated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) related to potential securities fraud and other misconduct.
