Adam Griffin serves as Of Counsel in the firm’s Project Finance & Development Group, and is based in the New York office. Mr. Griffin’s practice focuses on U.S. domestic and international project and acquisition financings, tax equity transactions, restructurings, and other debt and equity financing and joint venture transactions involving energy and infrastructure projects and companies.

Mr. Griffin regularly represents private equity sponsors, developers, public and private companies, lenders, financial institutions, and equity investors on complex and novel project finance and other transactions, including a broad variety of renewable energy, conventional energy, and infrastructure transactions.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Griffin practiced for several years in the New York office of one of the largest law firms in the United States.

Mr. Griffin received his B.S. summa cum laude from The University of Akron (UA) in 2005, and was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma. While at UA, Mr. Griffin served as a summer intern to then–U.S. Representative Sherrod Brown in Washington, DC. He received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2008, where he was the executive symposium editor of the Case Western Reserve Law Review, was elected to the Order of the Coif, and graduated magna cum laude. During his studies, Mr. Griffin was also a summer intern at the International Trade Centre UNCTAD/WTO in Geneva, Switzerland.

Mr. Griffin is admitted to practice in the state of New York.
