Adam Nguyen is an associate in the firm’s Federal Tax Group and previously worked in the firm’s Private Equity Funds Group.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Nguyen served as a research assistant for Professor Mark Gergen and as an extern for The Honorable Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers of the Northern District of California. Mr. Nguyen earned his J.D. from the UC Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall), where he was a supervising editor of the California Law Review and an articles editor of the Asian American Law Journal. Mr. Nguyen received the Fenwick Tax Award for excellence in tax law, American Jurisprudence Awards for Mortgage Lending and Partnership Tax, and Prosser Prizes for Contracts and Income Tax. He earned bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating with Latin and departmental honors.
