Adam Westhead is an associate based in the London office of Morrison & Foerster and is a member of the Corporate practice group.

Mr. Westhead advises on a wide range of corporate transactions, including public and private company M&A, venture capital, corporate finance and corporate reorganisations, acting for clients ranging from large international corporates to individual sellers, buyers and investors. Mr. Westhead has worked for both private and public companies in a number of industry sectors, with a particular focus on technology and media.

Before his training contract, Mr. Westhead worked for the UK’s tax and customs authority, HMRC.

After obtaining a B.A. (Hons) in History from the University of Newcastle in 2008, Mr. Westhead completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Law in 2010 and the Legal Practice Course in 2011 and received an LLB (Hons) from the College of Law, Manchester.

Mr. Westhead completed his training contract in the London office of Morrison & Foerster prior to his qualification as a solicitor in September 2014.

As an associate, Mr. Westhead also spent six months working in the Los Angeles office where he focused on U.S. public and private transactions in the technology sector.

Mr. Westhead is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.
