Adrian specializes in disputes resolution by way of court litigation and arbitration. He has extensive experience in handling cross-border disputes and complex commercial litigation with particular focus on asset recovery, corporate restructuring and compliance, internal investigations, and disputes involving intellectual property matters. Adrian also advises financial institutions with respect to regulatory matters and has experience in contentious matters involving competition law, criminal prosecutions, shareholders’ disputes, and FCPA-related investigations.

Adrian is a member of the London Court of International Arbitration.

He speaks fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Mr. Yip has been ranked as a leading lawyer in dispute resolution in China and Hong Kong by Chambers Global in 2010–2014 and recognized as "Star Litigator" by Benchmark Asia Pacific in 2013. He is also recommended for China Dispute Resolution: Foreign Firms by Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2019.
