Alexandra (Alex) Ward is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster’s Los Angeles office.

Ms. Ward is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law where she was an associate editor of the UCLA Law Review, a writing advisor for the Lawyering Skills Program, and a volunteer ambassador for the Office of Admissions. She was also a participant in the Jones Day 1L Moot Court Competition.

Before joining MoFo, Ms. Ward was an intern at the Office of the Attorney General’s Child Protection Section in Washington, D.C. and a Diversity Fellowship Intern at Fox Group Legal in Los Angeles. She also interned at the South County Superior Court in San Diego as part of a JusticeCorps volunteer program for which she provided 300 hours of one-on-one direct service to self-represented litigants in the Family Law Facilitator’s Office. Prior to law school, she spent two years working as a legal assistant at a law firm in San Diego specializing in civil litigation.

She received a B.A. magna cum laude in political science and history from the University of California, San Diego.
