Amanda’s practice includes internal investigations and government investigations, spanning a variety of legal and practical issues. She has represented individuals and companies facing high-profile investigations by the SEC, DOJ, and other state and federal agencies, as well as government entities investigating their own internal issues. She has experience representing clients in investigations involving alleged securities fraud and violations, regulatory compliance, financial and operational management, corruption, discrimination, and workplace misconduct.

Amanda also represents clients in securities litigation and complex commercial matters, including class actions, contract disputes, mass torts, and antitrust suits.

Amanda maintains an active pro-bono practice, which focuses upon constitutional civil rights matters such as race and gender discrimination, searches and seizures, and freedom of religion. Amanda has also represented individuals navigating U.S. citizenship and naturalization processes. Amanda’s commitment to civil rights also is a focus of her civil practice, where she works with clients to promote equality and address workplace harassment and discrimination. 

Amanda received her J.D. from NYU School of Law, where she served as a Notes Editor on the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy and sat on the Professional Development Committee of the NYU Law Women group. Amanda received a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Michigan, graduating with Distinction and Honors.

Before joining MoFo, Amanda worked as a legal intern at the New York Regional Office of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and spent two summers as an intern in the Kings County District Attorney’s office. She is admitted to practice in New York.
