Amanda Treleaven is a litigation associate in the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster and specializes in securities litigation and enforcement, complex civil litigation, and corporate internal investigations.
Ms. Treleaven defends clients in litigation, arbitration, and government investigations relating to securities fraud, breaches of fiduciary duty, and high-stakes contractual disputes. In addition to representing clients in adversarial matters, Ms. Treleaven’s experience includes conducting internal investigations and advising clients on general corporate compliance matters. She represents clients operating in a number of localities, including the U.S., the UK, and throughout Asia and Southeast Asia, and in a wide range of industries: telecommunications, data storage, pharmaceuticals, financial services, energy, and consumer goods.
Ms. Treleaven received her J.D. in 2009 from the UCLA School of Law, where she served as chief articles editor for the Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs. She earned her B.A. summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA in 2004.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Treleaven was an associate in the Silicon Valley office of a leading AmLaw 100 firm from 2009 to 2012. From 2013 to 2016, Ms. Treleaven was a member of the Litigation Department in Morrison & Foerster’s Tokyo office.
Ms. Treleaven is admitted to practice in California.
