Mr. Morrison is of counsel in the firm's Real Estate Group. Mr. Morrison's practice focuses on the representation of funds, banks, REITs and other institutional clients in all major aspects of real estate-related transactions, including: financings; acquisitions and dispositions; development projects; fund formation; joint venture arrangements; restructurings and workouts; and distressed loan portfolio acquisitions. Mr. Morrison also represents lenders and sponsors in project finance transactions.

Representing Evergreen Real Estate Partners LLC, a global real estate investment partnership affiliated with M3 Capital Partners, in its acquisition of Quraz (Japan’s largest self storage company) and all of Quraz’s self storage properties.

Mr. Morrison earned his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1998, where he was a Student Authorities Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, and received his B.B.A. degree from George Washington University in 1992. Mr. Morrison also studied Japanese language at Nanzan University, in Nagoya, Japan.
