Andrew Walchuk is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office.

Mr. Walchuk is a graduate of Yale Law School, where he was the managing editor and articles editor for the Yale Journal on International Law. While in law school, he served as a student director of the Allard K. Lowenstein International Human Rights Clinic, as well as campus legal director for the International Refugee Assistance Project. He also worked for the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office through the San Francisco Affirmative Litigation Project.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Walchuk worked as a legal intern in the Office of the Legal Advisor at the Department of State and at Lambda Legal in New York City. Before law school, he was a policy analyst for the Arkansas Administrative Office of the Courts, coordinating compliance with federal civil rights law.

He received a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas.
