Aniek Schadd’s practice focuses on EU and Dutch competition law. She has particular experience in advising on mergers, vertical distribution issues and abuse of dominance issues. She also regularly advises on cartel cases and state aid law. Aniek is based in the Brussels office of Morrison & Foerster LLP and is a member of the firm’s global Antitrust Law practice group and the Litigation department.
Aniek earned a Master of Law from the College of Europe in Bruges in European Legal Studies in 2009, two Masters of Law from Leiden University in The Netherlands in European Law and in Public International Law, and graduated from Leiden University in The Netherlands with a Bachelor of Law in 2005.
Prior to joining the firm, Aniek worked in the EU & Competition Law Department of a large Dutch law firm’s Brussels office and trained in The Netherlands. The Legal 500 EMEA 2016 edition praised Aniek for her ‘perceptive and thorough approach to problem solving’.
Aniek is a fluent speaker of Dutch and French.
