Dr. Anthony Parenti’s practice focuses on all aspects of domestic and international patent prosecution and portfolio counseling in the areas of life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and agricultural technology. Anthony also works closely with clients on compliance with the Orphan Drug Act, advising on pre-market regulatory issues, helping to develop regulatory strategies, and preparing FDA submissions.
Anthony received his J.D. from the University of California Davis School of Law, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
Anthony earned his Ph.D. in cell and molecular biology from Michigan State University, where his research focused on embryonic stem cells, induced pluripotent stem cells, aging, and mammalian embryo development. In his thesis research, Anthony discovered a new type of stem cell made during cellular reprogramming with potential application in mammalian development and infertility research. Anthony obtained his master’s degree in biotechnology from San Jose State University and his B.S. in biological science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
