Anya Adams applies experience as a patent scientist and her degrees in mechanical engineering and biomechanical engineering to helping clients with U.S. and international patent prosecution.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Adams was a patent scientist for an international intellectual property law firm, where she prepared and prosecuted U.S. and international patents in the oilfield, medical, consumer electronic, and construction industries. She also liaised with United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) examiners.
Ms. Adams earned her J.D. in 2018 from UCLA School of Law, where she was a member of the Woman’s Law Journal, the Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Asian Pacific Islander Student Law Association. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Brian M. Hoffstadt of the California Second District Court of Appeal. Ms. Adams concurrently obtained her M.S. in mechanical engineering with a focus on mechatronics, and her B.S. in biomechanical engineering in 2012 from Stanford University. Ms. Adams participated in study abroad programs in Kyoto, Japan, and Barcelona, Spain.
Ms. Adams is admitted to practice in California.
