Benjamin Williams is an associate in the Los Angeles office and is a member of the firm’s class-action litigation and employment groups. He represents clients in a broad range of complex civil litigation in both state and federal courts. He has defended clients in a variety of consumer and large employment class actions, restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation, regulatory matters, antitrust actions, and in other complex commercial disputes. Mr. Williams was selected as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine in both 2014 and 2015.

Before joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Williams was an associate in the Dallas and Los Angeles offices of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. He attended Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and Order of the Coif in 2010. While in law school, Mr. Williams was editor in chief of the SMU Law Review’s Journal of Air Law & Commerce, and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable A. Joe Fish, United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Before law school, Mr. Williams was a senior principal of labor relations for American Airlines in Dallas, Texas, where he participated in collective bargaining with the airline’s unions and represented the company in employee and union arbitrations.
