Brianna Liang Velasco is an associate in the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster and a member of the firm’s Technology Transactions Group
Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Ms. Liang was a law clerk at a criminal defense boutique firm. She also served as a research assistant for the Stanford Neurodevelopment, Affect, and Psychopathology Laboratory, where she studied the biological and cognitive risk factors for developing depression.
Ms. Liang earned her J.D. in 2018 from Stanford Law School. During law school, she participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, which provides free tax return preparation services to low-income individuals. She also volunteered with Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto, where she assisted tenants in legal disputes with their landlords. She was also a member of the Stanford Latino Law Student Association, First Generation Professionals, and the Women of Color Collective. Ms. Liang was also a Diversity Fellow at Morrison & Foerster during her 1L summer. Before attending law school, she received her B.A. in psychology from Stanford University.
