Cameron Tepfer is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster’s New York office. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on white-collar criminal defense, SEC and regulatory enforcement, and corporate internal investigations. Mr. Tepfer has handled cases in both state and federal court, as well as conducted corporate internal investigations. He has represented a variety of individual and corporate defendants in connection with criminal investigations, SEC enforcement matters, and other regulatory proceedings, including in matters related to anti–money laundering, trade sanctions, and federal securities laws and regulations.
Mr. Tepfer also maintains an active pro bono practice, which has included representing two defendants during the sentencing phases of their criminal prosecution through the CJA panel, and litigating an employment discrimination matter in federal court.
Mr. Tepfer graduated cum laude from New York University School of Law, where he was a Robert McKay Scholar and a Criminal Law Fellow at the Center on the Administration of Criminal Law. Mr. Tepfer also served as editor-in-chief of the NYU Law Moot Court Board, where he was elected to the Order of the Barristers and received the Mark Brisman ’92 Prize for his contributions to the Moot Court Board.
